Grant joined California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo after she completed her elementary and secondary school. There she was able to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism. Danielle then received her Master of Professional Science in broadcast meteorology from the Mississippi State University.
