Eddie Olczyk Biography

Eddie Olczyk is an acclaimed American Professional Ice Hockey Analyst, Former Player and Coach who was born and brought-up in Chicago. Currently, he works at NHL on NBC as a Television Color Commentator and at Chicago Blackhawks games on NBC Sports Chicago as a Color Analyst.

Eddie played hockey for 16 seasons in the “National Hockey League”, for great teams including ‘Chicago Blackhawks’, ‘Toronto Maple Leafs’, ‘Winnipeg Jets’, ‘New York Rangers’, ‘Los Angeles Kings’ and ‘Pittsburgh Penguins’. In 1994, he won the Stanley Cup with the Rangers and became the head coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins from June 2003 to December 2005.
