Nathan Kress is an American actor and director known for his role in the Nickelodeon series, iCarly. In the show, he played Freddie Benson, one of the main characters and the titular ‘Carly’s’ best friend. The show was created by Dan Schneider and aired on Nickelodeon. It ran from 2007 to 2012 and focused on Carly Shay – a teenage girl who created a hugely popular web show called iCarly with her best friends – Sam and Freddie. the iCarly show was a hit and turned its stars into teen icons.
