She began her career as a would-be actress and did find limited success on the east coast and west coast. However, it wasn’t until she discovered social media and her passion for the vegan lifestyle that her career took off.

The Origin Story

Tabitha Brown was born Tabitha Bonita Brown in Eden, North Carolina, on February 4th, 1979.

She grew up mostly in North Carolina, between Stoneville and Eden. Her father died when she was very young (age 4), and her mother raised her.

Her father died from an apparent heart attack, and she believed that it was due to his excessive consumption of red meat.

This would later become a focal point for her later life, and we will get into that a little later in this article.

Tabitha went to grade school and high school in Eden, North Carolina.

She did get her high school diploma, and she did go on to college, where she sought to study fashion design.
